Connect Cal.com
Connecting Cal.com turns bookings into call events in Klarvyn — stitched to the visitor’s ad journey, including cancellations, reschedules and no-shows.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”-
In Cal.com, go to Settings → Developer → API keys and create a key (
cal_live_…). -
In Klarvyn, go to Settings → Integrations, open the Cal.com card and paste the key. Self-hosting Cal.com? Enter your instance’s API URL in API base URL (self-hosted only) — otherwise leave it blank.
-
Click Connect Cal.com. The key is validated before anything is stored.
-
In Cal.com Settings, click Add Event Types and select which event types should create call events — Klarvyn registers one webhook per selected event type, automatically.
-
Make a test booking on a selected event type — it appears as a call on the contact within seconds.
What flows in
Section titled “What flows in”- Bookings on selected event types become call events, with the event-type name as Calendar Name, appointment time and duration.
- Cancellations, reschedules and no-shows update the original call — no duplicates — and show as timeline cards on the contact.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Nothing is tracked until you select event types — connecting only lists them; step 4 is not optional.
- Team event types can require a paid Cal.com plan. If Cal.com refuses a webhook for a team event type, Klarvyn tells you exactly which ones aren’t being tracked.
- Best attribution: embed Cal.com on your own site with the Klarvyn tracking script — bookings then stitch to the visitor’s full journey. Bookings from a plain cal.com link fall back to email matching.
- Cal.com doesn’t pass UTM parameters natively — attribution relies on the embed stitching (or email matching), so prefer the embed.
- Disconnect removes every webhook Klarvyn registered in Cal.com; recorded calls are kept.
