Connect Pinterest Ads
Connecting Pinterest brings your campaign spend into Klarvyn and sends conversions back through Pinterest’s Conversions API — no extra keys needed.
-
In Klarvyn, go to Settings → Integrations → Pinterest and click Connect Pinterest account. Log in and approve access — your ad accounts are imported. Turn on Sync for the ones you use on the Accounts tab.
-
Add the tracking template. Copy it from Link Builder → Paid ads → Pinterest:
kv_adid={adid}&kv_pin_cid={campaignid}&kv_pin_agid={adgroupid}&kv_pin_dev={device}&kv_pin_kw={keyword}In Pinterest Ads Manager, append it to each ad’s Destination URL (starting with
?). -
Choose which events to send in Events & Audiences → Conversions.
What it enables
Section titled “What it enables”- Spend — daily, per campaign.
- Click attribution — Pinterest’s click id (
epik) is captured automatically; the template adds campaign, ad group, ad, device and keyword. - Conversions — sent with the same login you connected with: Checkout,
Add to Cart, Lead, Sign Up, Page Visit and more. Matched on
epikor the contact’s email. - Audiences — sync audiences as customer lists (hashed email).
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Spend is campaign-level only — Pinterest doesn’t provide ad-group or ad-level cost here, so Creatives won’t show ad-level spend for Pinterest.
- History import covers the last 90 days, whatever window you pick.
- Audiences need at least 100 people with an email and advertising consent.
- With several Pinterest accounts, conversions go through the first active one.
- This integration is newer — if numbers look off compared with Pinterest Ads Manager, let us know.
