Connect Whop
Connecting Whop brings your payments, refunds and disputes into Klarvyn — and with the OAuth connection, unlocks contact-attributed checkout links and invoices in the Link Builder.
There are two Whop cards under Settings → Integrations. Use “Whop OAuth” — it does everything the plain webhook card does, plus the Link Builder features. (The plain “Whop” card is the older webhook-only path.)
-
In Klarvyn, go to Settings → Integrations, open the Whop OAuth card and click Connect with Whop. Authorize Klarvyn — your Whop company is detected automatically (or you pick one if you have several).
-
Turn on event tracking — this step is required even after OAuth: in your Whop app, go to Webhooks → Create Webhook, paste the URL shown in the panel, subscribe to the listed events (payments, memberships, invoices, refunds, disputes), and paste the webhook secret back into Klarvyn. Save.
-
Click Check permissions to confirm the connection can create checkout links, plans and invoices. Anything missing? Add it on your Whop app’s Permissions tab and hit Reconnect.
-
Make a test purchase — it appears in Contacts → Purchases within seconds.
What flows in
Section titled “What flows in”- Payments become purchases with revenue and product; refunds and disputes record negative revenue.
- Checkout links and invoices from the Link Builder attribute the sale to the exact contact you picked — the identity is baked into the checkout, so anyone (including your closer) can share the link without breaking attribution. The link list shows a live Paid / Not paid status.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- OAuth alone records nothing. Until the webhook secret is pasted (step 2), zero events arrive — the most common setup miss.
- Whop revenue is booked as purchases, and membership deactivations as cancellations — recurring Whop payments show in Purchases rather than as an MRR subscription ledger.
- The embed toggle: Track Whop Embed Checkouts on Pages (on by default) captures checkouts from Whop embeds — but only on pages running the Klarvyn tracking script, and it respects the visitor’s consent.
- One Whop company per workspace — a company already linked to another workspace can’t be connected twice.
- Changing a Link Builder plan’s price or billing cadence creates a new plan in Whop bound to the same product — the native plan is never modified.
- Running ads through Whop? Whop Ads is activated from the same Whop OAuth page — see Connect Whop Ads.
- Disconnect revokes Klarvyn’s access at Whop; recorded data is kept.
