Connect Stripe
Stripe is where revenue attribution comes to life: every payment, subscription event and refund lands in Klarvyn and is traced back to the campaign, ad set and ad that produced it.
-
In Klarvyn, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Stripe card.
-
Stripe opens in a new tab. Sign in and pick the Stripe account to connect. That’s the whole setup — webhooks are handled by Klarvyn’s platform connection, so there is nothing to configure in the Stripe dashboard.
-
Back in Klarvyn, open Configure on the Stripe card to review the account settings — currency handling, whether to process Stripe test mode data, and more. You can connect multiple Stripe accounts here too.
-
Optionally click Import Historical Sales (last 1–12 months) to backfill purchases from before the connection.
What flows in
Section titled “What flows in”- Purchases — one-off payments and paid invoices, on the contact and in the Purchases ledger.
- Subscriptions — the full lifecycle: started, renewed, upgraded, downgraded, cancelled, churned. Trials count as revenue only once they convert.
- Refunds and chargebacks — recorded as negative revenue, so reports show net truth.
- Connecting Stripe also unlocks the Stripe Checkout tab in the Link Builder, for payment links that carry attribution automatically.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Test mode is ignored by default. Enable Process test data in Configure if you want test-mode events during evaluation.
- Attribution works best with a Klarvyn visitor id on the payment. Links
created in Klarvyn’s Link Builder handle this automatically. If you build
your own Checkout sessions, pass the visitor id in
client_reference_idormetadata.kv_vid— otherwise Klarvyn falls back to matching by the customer’s email. - Checkout sessions without a customer email are skipped — Klarvyn needs an email (or visitor id) to tie the purchase to a contact.
- Disconnect anytime from the Configure panel. Already-recorded purchases and revenue are kept.
